The beginning of this class started years ago and is just now beginning. You will be pushed to produce some amazing art this year. This will just be a start for you however. You will not "ARRIVED" at the end of the class. If you receive a 3, 4, or 5 on your portfolio also doesn't mean you have arrived. It's something to be proud of and understand your portfolio needs to be a breathing body of work.
Photography may or may not be apart of your journey after high school. Education, practice, and life experiences are things you need to take away from this course. Short cuts never work. They just let you miss out on something that was apart of that path with a purpose. Don't rush into a plan of action with a soft foundation. You may feel that you are ready, but time can't be rushed. The minute you feel you have learned all that you needed will be the same minute you stopped growing, observing, challenging yourself and getting passed by everyone around you.
